Hellbenders Amphibious Bootcamp [ Map It ]
Hellbender’s Amphibious Bootcamp is an extreme fitness camp that takes place in both the water and on land. Based on a US Navy Special Operations and Diver training, the camp will push you farther than you ever imagined. All fitness levels are welcome, and participants can rest when they need to, but each class will be instructed full-steam -ahead for those in excellent shape! Participants should be somewhat comfortable in the water and be able to swim. The camp consists of water calisthenics (push-ups, squats, flutter kicks, pull-up bars, sandbags etc.), and in the pool multiple stroke swimming, rescue buddy tows, breath hold swimming, survival drills and more. Equipment List:
Swimsuit
Running shoes and workout clothes (worn over swimsuit at beginning of class)
Swim goggles
Pool swim fins (optional)
Drinking water
Limit one certificate per customer.
